You were born on June 1st and it is unbelievable that 60 years have gone since you passed.

You are not only the Hollywood Sex Goddess who changed America. You are also the inspiring, powerful woman, who overcame many many tragedies in her life. As a child you were abandoned by your mentally-ill single mother and became a ward of the state. You faltered in your early years between an orphans home and living with a legal guardian. You were sexually abused and molested as a child, by those adults who were supposed to protect you. This early childhood memory wounded you on a deep, deep level. It was your childhood experiences that first made you want to become an actor: “I didn’t like the world around me because it was kind of grim … When I heard that this was acting, I said that’s what I want to be… Some of my foster families used to send me to the movies to get me out of the house and there I’d sit all day and way into the night. Up in front, there with the screen so big, a little kid all alone, and I loved it.”

You became the most iconic Hollywood star, who still shines like nobody else. You played the ditzy blonde in films, and many people believed that you played yourself. But you were very far from being ditzy. You were actually very evolved and intelligent. You recognized that you had to balance your super sexual power. Many people think that your power was your beautiful hourglass body with big boobs. Oh no. Your power was your innocent childlike soul.
